Book Appointment

Kitty charges $150 per hour (AUD, inclusive of GST) and are qualified social workers. If you have a low income, please reach out to us to discuss the possibility of a reduced rate.

If you are in receipt of a Centrelink, or equivalent, income support payment, we have reduced rates of $100 per hour (AUD, inclusive of GST).

These fees may not apply if you have approved counselling under Victims of Crime in NSW or you have a self-managed NDIS package where you have counselling as part of your package. These fees may be paid either by NSW Victims Services or NDIS. If you want to book an appointment using your NDIS funding, please contact us directly to book the appointment, as there is no pre-payment.

Please note that a Mental Health Plan or a referral from your doctor is not required unless you are a Department of Veterans Affairs client.

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)

We welcome DVA clients, DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon receipt of a doctor or a treating medical specialist referral. Kitty is registered with DVA to provide social work services.

Victims of Crime NSW

If you are a victim of crime in NSW and have approved counselling you are able to book with Kitty is an approved counsellor under the NSW Victims Services Approved Counselling Service.

For your initial session under the Victims Services scheme please book an appointment at least a week ahead as Victims Services need to approve your initial session prior to attending. Subsequent sessions can be booked any time there is an available appointment, no approval is required. All payments for these sessions will be paid by Victims Services, so please choose the Victims Services appointment types when booking, as no pre-payment is required.

Payments and Appointment Availability

All payments are collected securely at the time of online booking through STRIPE (excluding those clients who are covered under NSW Victims Services, DVA, or NDIS). If you would like to pay for your appointment on the day please contact us to make alternative arrangements and book your appointment.

Kitty welcome clients globally online but due to insurance restrictions are unable to provide services to clients residing in the United States of America and Canada.

Please note all session times are listed in Australian time zones.  Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) is in use from the first Sunday in October to the first Sunday in April during Daylight Saving Time (DST). Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) is used during the remainder of the year. If you are outside this time zone, please ensure you are able to attend the appointment in the converted time in the state or country you are residing in.
